Manufacturing of brass fittings and valves

RubiZeta is specialised in brass machining for the production of valves and fittings in the heating and plumbing industry.

RubiZeta has been operating for nearly sixty years in the manufacture of fittings, faucets and valves for civil and industrial use for heating, water, gas, refrigeration, water treatment and many other fields.

  • Components for boilers and heating system (valves, fittings, boiler drains and lockshields...)
  • Sanitary and plumbing components and fittings (valves and fittings both for copper and multilayer pipe)
  • Components and valves for industry (heating and plumbing system)
  • Heating and refrigerating components
  • Components for pressure gauges and tubes
  • RubiZeta produces both catalogue items and OEM brass parts

The stages to produce customer design item are the following:

  • Designing and realisation of moulds with the possibility of customisation with customer logo if required
  • Hot-forging process with certified brass bars
  • Trimming by deburring and tumbling process to eliminate any molding burrs
  • Possible machining by numerically controlled transfer machines if required by the project
  • Possible superficial treatment as nickel plating or crome plating if required
  • Possibility of assembly and testing with delivery of finished product on time and with highly competitive prices

Brass hot-forging

To produce its items in-house RubiZeta has an assorted and modern number of hot-forging machines.

Brass hot-forging is process that exploits the remarkable plasticity characteristics of the brass allowing its deformation once is heated.

List of hot-forging machines:

  • 1 PRABER PRESS of 200 tons
  • 1 HYDROMEC PRESS of 250 tons
  • 1 PRABER PRESS of 400 tons

This machining process has the advantage of obtaining a product with increasingly precise tolerances which are guaranteed throughout production, as well as the possibility…

Trimming phase

Burrs trimming

This post-manufacturing phase is necessary to remove excess brass after the fitting has been forged if necessary

RubiZeta has 4 TRIMMING MACHINES which are needed to deburr the forged part in various sizes.

The sand-blasting process is carried out in-house after manufacturing.

Machining phase

Brass machining

All our products, both catalogue items and products upon customer design, are machined in-house through 7 GNUTTI cnc transfer machines.

Our machine list includes 3 diamond finishing machines for conical seal valves.

Assembling phase

Brass fittings assembly

RubiZeta has several machines for assembling and testing phases for both its products and the ones upon customer drawing.

  • 1 AUTOMATIC machine to assembly pressure gauge valves and boiler drain valves
  • 1 AUTOMATIC machine to assembly valves and lockshields
  • 2 TESTING  benches to test tightness

Surface treatment

Brass surface treatment

Upon customer request products can be coated with the following surface treatments:

  • nickel plating;
  • crome plating;
  • zinc plating;
  • brass sandblasting;
  • pickling.
